TATAMAGOUCHE – Al Gore-trained Susan Stephen will be in Tatamagouche next week to present on the Climate Crisis: Issues and Solutions.

Stephen’s presentation will begin at 7 p.m. on Sept. 10, at the Tatamagouche Library. The North Shore Chapter of the Council of Canadians is sponsoring the presentation, which is free.

You may or may not already know about the climate crisis. Perhaps you are feeling despair. Discussing concerns with your neighbors is one of the best ways to come to terms, gain hope and move forward.

Al Gore, former American vice-president, has been one of the most committed voices for recognizing the reality of the climate crisis for more than two decades. Stephen completed training with him last March, and now has visuals and research with up-to-date information to present on this global crisis.

The UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has said we have about 10 years to take action to avert the worst of this crisis.
