Residents in Nova Scotia are going to the polls on May 30.
Premier Stephen McNeil met with Lt.-Gov. J.J. Grant on April 30, asking him to dissolve the government and call a general election.
In Colchester North, incumbent Karen Casey is re-offering for the Liberals, while James Finnie will represent the NDP, and Rebecca Taylor for the PC Party.
By law, the provincial election campaign must be at least 30 days in length, with the election held on a Tuesday.
