Sustainable Northern Nova Scotia, or SuNNS, is hosting a letter writing campaign in regards to possible gold exploration and mining in the Cobequid Highlands.

Those concerned with the project proposed by the province’s Department of Natural Resources can gather May 4 at the Tatamagouche Library, from 6 to 8 p.m. Letters will be sent to local and provincial governments.

Pre-written letters, as well as writing prompts, will be available for anyone interested. Light refreshments will be served.
